In 1972, three eminent citizens of Bangalore came together with a shared vision — to create an exclusive college for women in North Bangalore.

Founder & Director-cum-Coordinator
A noted scholar, author, and professor of Indian History and Politics. He envisioned an exclusive women's college, establishing mLAC with just 12 students. (1895–1984)
Dr. M.N. Mahadevan
Founder President
A renowned physician and co-founder who recognized the urgent need for women's higher education in Bangalore and helped make the vision a reality.

Chairman of the TVS Group of Companies, who co-founded the institution and played a pivotal role in its early development and growth.
